Since 2018, Dan and crew and renovated most of my house over 4 separate occasions, most recently a kitchen overhaul. Clearly we have been exceedingly happy with Alba or we wouldn’t have kept asking them to do more work! In addition to the kitchen, Alba completed ensuite, master bedroom and powder room renos as well as replacement of all trim, popcorn ceilings, basement stairs and interior doors. The meticulous attention to detail and design ideas were much appreciated. Dan will forever be my “Reno guy”
This was my first time doing major home renovations. After getting a few other quotes, I decided to work with Dan. He gave me the best “vibe” and agreed to come with me to apply for the city permit. He guided me through the whole process, he was present on site, calling me with updates and progress reports. He was a dream to work with and his team was very professional. Thank you Dan! I love my new addition 😊
We recently had a full basement renovation done with Dan and love it! He was very kind, patient and flexible thoughout the entire process. We finally have a beautiful basement! Thanks so much for all your hard work and efforts. 🙂
This is our second time using Alba home service on one of our properties and am pleased to say they that the work was completed in three days with little inconvenience to our tenants. I am uploading the project from start to finish.
The Alba team did a super job of building me a new deck. Dan’s approach to his customers is very professional. He takes the time to listen and has great input to the project in hand. His team were also very approachable and accommodating. Clean-up at the end of each day was great.
I highly recommend Alba Home Services and will not hesitate to consult with them first before any new ventures.
We had Dan and his team renovate our living room dining room. He is extremely friendly, honest and his team are hard-working. I am usually very nervous about giving access to my home when I am not able to be there. Dan made sure that everything was fine. The job was done professionally and on time. I highly recommend Alba to everyone I speak to.
Dan and his crew did excellent work at our residence. They were always on time, worked extra hours if necessary and were very accommodating. Professional work worth every penny! We have recommended his company to our neighbors who were happy with their work! I would not hesitate to recommend them for your renovations!
I asked Dan to replace our home’s aging aluminum siding with vinyl siding. Part of the job included the addition of 1.5 inch rigid polyisocyanurate insulation sheathing board. This meant the strapping and vinyl siding would extend further out, but Patrick was able to install window capping which looks great. The material was chosen with care, but more importantly the installation was very professionally done by Patrick and Frank. For example the seams are hardly visible. Dan was frequently on site and patiently answered my many questions. I asked to have the garage door frame capped as well. They took the extra time to complete this unscheduled task. This team was very friendly and skillful. I would highly recommend Alba Home Services. I have already consulted with Dan about our next renovation.
Dan and his team went above and beyond doing our basement project. This was our first major renovation and we were not sure what to expect. Dan was very patient, he offered insightful advice and truly took the time to make sure everything ran smoothly and the project turned out beautifully. We will 100% be using them again in the future for our next project. Very professional, clean, very responsive and truly accountable. Can’t say enough good things about Alba homes!
We hired Alba to redo the siding on our home and I could not be happier. Excellent service, always on time and Dan (the foreman) was there everyday checking on the progress and keeping us informed and he went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Will definitely use them again for our next project. Very good prices too.
I have a roof leak from last night’s rain storm. Fairly new roof, changed in the summer of 2018. After a friend’s referral I called the owner, Dan. He was honest in conversation and advised me to request the original roofer who could fix the leak faster than anyone else. In my opinion, I think Dan was very honest and not greedy to take my business. I’ll definitely call him for any future renovation or repair work of my home.
Dan and his crew exceeded our expectations. They took their time to make sure the job was done perfectly. We don’t normally leave reviews online but we felt compelled to leave a 5 star review based on how happy we were with the outcome. Would definitely use them again and would highly recommend. Thanks Dan, Luc and crew!
Alba Home Services just fixed part of our roof and improved
its resistance to weather, especially around the chimney, following a bad leak after this Spring ice storm. They also redid our gutters. Very nice team, professional, on time,
Dan and his team ( Patrick and Frank) did a great job on my soffits and facias. They were very professional and very patient with my many questions; they offered options and recommendations which they were happy to discuss. I also appreciated their end of the day cleanup. I would definitely call on Dan again in the future.
We have hired Alba for many projects over the years. When hiring Alba you speak directly with the owner of the company who responds promptly to any emails or phone calls, which is hard to find these days.. that is why we stick with them. We have recommended Alba to many neighbours who have hired them and have the same feedback on workmanship and the owners commitment to his clients. Highly recommend them.
Dan and his crew did a great job fixing the accident damage to our porch area. Nice workmanship. He is very responsive and reliable. Does what he says he’s going to do.
Work done as a result of last year’s tornado They were very punctual and did what they said they would do in a timely manner.
I have owned 3 older homes in Ottawa and have done reno’s and upgrades on all – so I have worked with a number of tradespeople. Dan’s team did a great job. They were courteous, efficient and clean. Work was done within a day. I highly recommend this company and will definitely consider them for future work.
Complete re-roof of the house with replacement of sheething, insulation and siding on the dormers. Smart and careful work by the crew with excellent communication throughout the process.
I am very pleased with my new deck. Dan and his crew did a great job with the demolition and rebuild. They were precise and detailed in their approach to the work and invited my input throughout. I highly recommend ALBA Home Services for their professional approach and for ensuring that their customer gets exactly what they want. I will definitely hire them for future projects. You should too, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Dan and crew.
It is really great to work with Dan and his crew for our basement reno project. Their price was very reasonable to start with. The entire reno was completed as planned. Site was cleaned before they left. Dan is always very fast in responding our questions. Even the final touch up was very well done. We would recommend his company to our family and friends for sure.
Alba Home Services redid my roof shingles. They also did Siding repairs. They were very professional and clean in doing the job. Dan and his crew were methodical in the installation with Dan keep me in the loop as to how the progress was going. They kept to the cost agreed upon, no hidden surprises and the roof and the siding look great. I would recommend them anyone who needs any kind of home renovation done.
Great work, very detail oriented, very reliable, always on time and will definitely use this company again for other projects.
We purchased a 100 year old building in Ottawa and we initially hired Alba to renovate the rear exterior (replace siding, doors and windows and restore brickwork) of the house. We decided to do important improvements inside the house after that, and we felt comfortable working with Alba again. The collaboration with the owner and with the crew was very pleasant, the communications always clear and their work ethic is outstanding. The Alba Home Services team has helped us get the major, most important renovations done in a reasonable amount of time. We plan to work with them again in the future.
